    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi was serving a two-match suspension, leaving his assistant Khalil Ben Youssef to lead the team from the bench.

In those two games, Chiefs registered wins and avoided conceding goals after beating Sekhukhune United 1-0 in a Premier Soccer League match before Sunday's 4-0 win over Free Agents in the Nedbank Cup Last-32.

But Ben Youssef is refusing to take credit for the positive results.

    WHAT BEN YOUSSEF SAID

“We have the same team with and without coach Nabi," said Ben Youssef as per Sowetan Live.

"We work the same with and without him... there's no difference. The only difference is that we didn't concede and that was luck.

"Maybe we conceded in the other games with coach Nabi because we were unlucky.”

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Under Ben Youssef, Chiefs managed to score five goals although the other four goals came against third-tier opponents.

However, being potent in front of goal has been one of Amakhosi's biggest problems this season.

They will be hoping the last two games will inspire them going forward especially when it comes to scoring goals.

    WHAT NEXT FOR CHIEFS?

Nabi is expected to be back this coming weekend right in time for the Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates.

It will be his first derby showdown against the Buccaneers and he would not want to undo the gains of the past two games.
