"I'm happy for him, he's always been my mentor. It's always good to see him back because of his football knowledge and what he has done, especially believing in youngsters,” he said as quoted by SABC Sport.
“The way he structures his team, I learned a lot from him. Actually, he's the one who encouraged me to become a coach.
"I started coaching when I was still playing at Kaizer Chiefs, I ended up having my own team because of him and the same style of play was the way he, coach Muhsin was coaching, the coaching style and many other things that I learned from him," he continued.
"He became more like a father figure to me so yeah, I'm more than happy. My team actually dominated Soweto until I decided to sell the status because of the tactics. We were number one, I think probably for five years, the Discovery tournament they won for four years and they ended up getting a promotion to the Vodacom League then."
