Agent confirms interest in reported Kaizer Chiefs target & Mamelodi Sundowns youth product Keletso Makgalwa who is outshining Lucas Ribeiro in top PSL playmaker charts

This season, Sekhukhune United have been pushing hard to get another chance in the Caf competition after falling in the group stage in the ongoing campaign.

Keletso Makgalwa has been one of the reasons owing to his consistent performance for Babina Noko.

It explains why many teams are chasing the creative player who was once a reported target for Kaizer Chiefs.

The player's agent Ntobatsi Masegela has now conceded his client might not be at Sekhukhune next season.

“I think first and foremost we have to respect the fact that Makgalwa is contracted to Sekhkhune United and as you know he’s been one of their best players this season,” Masegela told FARPost.

“So everything that concerns Makgalwa and the enquiries has to go through the right channels and contact the club he has a contract with.

“At the moment there’s interest in Makgwala, but everything has been verbal and nothing is formal as yet,” the intermediary added.

Makgalwa is leading the race for most assists in the PSL, having managed nine, one more than Iqraam Rayners, and two more than third-placed Lucas Ribeiro.

His agent has to find him the best team to continue shining, if he doesn't stay at Sekhukhune United beyond this season.

Chiefs have already been the subject of reports of interest in the player and with their Top Eight qualification in their own hands and possible qualification for Caf competition through the Nedbank Cup final, Makgalwa would be a very useful addition to Nabi's squad for the 2025/26 season.

Right now, the main focus for Babina Noko is to try and at least finish third on the PSL table.

They are currently fourth with 37 points after 23 games, a point less than Stellenbosch, who are third.

It explains why they have to try and get maximum points against Polokwane City in their next outing.
