Trofeo de Campeones Overview

Saturday afternoon (local time), an Argentine flight was rocked by a bomb threat from a player with second-tier side Club Atlético Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy.

Colon de Santa Fe star Ignacio Lago has shattered boundaries by becoming the first active professional footballer in Argentina to publicly come out as gay. The 23-year-old forward shared this historic and deeply personal moment during a local television broadcast, introducing his partner to the world and marking a monumental cultural shift for the domestic game.
