Team news & squads
Aberdeen team news
Aberdeen looks poised to line up much like they did in their recent cup triumph over Greenock Morton, with the notable absences of defenders Emmanuel Gyamfi and Kristers Tobers, both sidelined through injury. There should be a tweak in midfield, though, as skipper Graeme Shinnie is expected to make a comeback alongside Sivert Heltne Nilsen after being rested on the weekend.
Leighton Clarkson and Ante Palaversa will be tussling for spots in that crucial midfield engine room. Up front, the spotlight will be on Sunderland loanee Adil Aouchiche to operate in the playmaker role behind lone striker Kusini Yengi, who notched his first goal for the club last Saturday.
FC FCSB team news
On the other side, FCSB are likely to field a similar lineup to the one that clinched a 3-1 victory away at Drita in the previous Europa League qualifying round, having rotated their squad for the clash with Rapid Bucuresti over the weekend. Florin Tanase, their talisman who missed the Rapid match but returned last time out, will be vital going forward, boasting a hot streak with four goals in six league matches this season.
Leading the line for the visitors will be Daniel Birligea, who topped the scoring charts with 17 goals in 35 appearances last campaign. Meanwhile, wingers Juri Cisotti and David Miculescu have shown their prowess, both finding the net in FCSB's latest European outing.
