Jurgen Klopp's sensational Roma move is 'not true'! Ex-Liverpool boss' agent denies agreement in place to join Serie A giants from Red Bull

Italian publication La Stampa had initially published claims that the German tactician was set to take charge at Roma, with current manager Claudio Ranieri reportedly moving into an upstairs role at the end of the Serie A season. However, Klopp’s representative, Marc Kosicke, has labelled the story as entirely baseless.

The report was apparently based on a misreading of a video shared by Roma’s media team, which was wrongly interpreted as a teaser for Klopp’s arrival. This miscommunication quickly spread across Italian media, leading many to believe that Roma were preparing a sensational managerial appointment. However, there appears to be no agreement or even negotiation between Klopp and the Serie A outfit.

Telling WinWinAllSports, Kosicke said: "Klopp coaching Roma? This news is not true."

Klopp assumed a major off-field role as Red Bull’s Global Head of Soccer after leaving Liverpool. His contract with the energy drinks conglomerate runs until 2029 and has already taken him across the world, including visits to Japan and Brazil.

While club football appears off the table for now, some have speculated that Klopp might be tempted by a future in international management. His name has been floated in connection with both the German and English national teams at various points. However, there is no indication that such a move is imminent or even being considered seriously at this stage.
