Gasperini, a seasoned coach with nine years and 439 matches at Atalanta, winning 228 of them, is the leading candidate. He notably led Atalanta to a Europa League title in 2023-24, making him a fitting successor to Ranieri, who will now serve as Roma’s sports advisor.
