Arsenal's first summer exit confirmed as Jorginho shares emotional goodbye message to the Gunners

Jorginho is set to move to Flamengo this summer after spending two years at Arsenal. He saw his playing time severely limited under Mikel Arteta this season, making just nine Premier League starts, and is now poised to embark on a new challenge in Brazil.

Per reports, the Italy international has already signed his Flamengo contract and the midfielder has posted a touching farewell on Instagram, insisting that when he joined the Gunners he joined a "family".

Jorginho wrote: "Thank you, Arsenal."

The midfielder is poised to head to South America. In the meantime, Arsenal are scheduled to begin pre-season against AC Milan on July 23.
