Manchester City have finally informed Tottenham Hotspur that they won't sell Savinho in the summer transfer window. This comes as a huge blow for Thomas Frank's side, who had earlier missed out on signing two key midfield targets, Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze. While Nottingham Forest blocked Gibbs-White move, arch-rivals Arsenal hijacked Eze's transfer at the last moment.

Earlier this week, Newcastle United's search for a new striker hit another obstacle after their transfer bid worth £50 million ($67.6m) for Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen was rejected.
