Le gardien de but du Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois, est devenu le dernier actionnaire en date du club de Ligue 2 Le Mans, selon un communiqué publié par le club français. La légende belge et du Real Madrid rejoint ainsi l'icône du tennis Novak Djokovic et les pilotes de F1 Felipe Massa et Kevin Magnussen dans leur participation au projet du Mans, qui aspire à devenir une puissance du football et a été comparé au « Wrexham français ».
