Japan U23 Overview

Goals for Sebastian Cordova, Johan Vasquez and Alexis Vega helped make it two podium finishes in three tournaments for El Tri

The men's third-place play-off takes place on Friday with El Tri looking to medal for the first time since 2012

Having proved watertight at the back so far, Al Hain-Cole is backing Moriyasu’s side to ensure a closely fought bronze medal clash against El Tri

La Roja have set up a clash against the 2016 gold medalists by beating the tournament hosts Japan after extra time

La Rojita face off against their Samurai Blue hosts with a place in the gold medal match at stake

With both teams looking solid at the back, Goal expect a tight Olympic semi-final encounter between the hosts and La Rojita
