Arsenal and Tottenham are to battle it out for Freiburg forward Maximilian Philipp, according to SportBild.

The 22-year-old is capable of operating across the attacking line, with his versatility and creativity making him a useful asset in the final third of the field.

He has netted five times in 13 appearances this season, after helping Freiburg win promotion to the Bundesliga in 2015-16.

Having made that step up in class with ease, Premier League eyes have descended on a player SportBild suggest could be available for as little as £3.4 million (€4m).
