Lando Norris gained his maiden pole in Miami after racing in his 110th Grand Prix. Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who has been in pole position four times this season, just couldn't match the Brit's speed as he's looking to build on his fourth successive drivers' title on course. Elsewhere on the grid, Ferrari got themselves back on the podium in Miami, having missed out on a podium finish for the first time this season back in China.
Recently, the F1 CEO said that one of the two Italy Grand Prix would be unlikely to remain on the calendar after 2025. Speaking to La Repubblica, he said: "Italy is a central part of our calendar. But we will soon have to address together the amount of resources to invest as a country."
"The uniqueness of a grand prix is no longer enough. We need to make a change of pace with the infrastructure for the fans."
