Commentary

Thanks for joining us for live coverage of the 0-0 draw between England and Italy at Molineux in the Nations League.
It's now three games without a victory for England, who remain bottom of League A Group 3. They'll host Hungary next time out as they look for their first three points of the competition. A 1-1 draw between Hungary and Germany elsewhere means that Italy still top the table despite only drawing here, and they'll travel to play Germany next as they try and continue their strong start to their Nations League campaign.
The referee blows the whistle for full-time, and the scoreline ends goalless as the teams share the spoils. Both sides had chances to win the game, with the visitors going close after just two minutes when Frattesi put his low shot wide. Mount then hit the bar after Sterling played him in, before Ramsdale made a couple of brilliant stops to deny Tonali and then Pessina before the interval. Sterling missed a golden opportunity seven minutes after the break, when an excellent cross from James picked him out at the back post. However, the Manchester City forward could only send his first-time effort over the bar. Southgate's men pressed for a late winner, but couldn't find one as the game ends 0-0.

It's surely a matter of time before one of these sides breaks the deadlock. Which player can show the composure needed to get their team in front?
The game goes to the break goalless, though it has been a very lively first half with both sides having great opportunities. Frattesi dragged an early shot wide of the left post, before Mount watched a first-time effort come back off the crossbar after Sterling found him in the box. Ramsdale made a number of really impressive saves to keep the scoreline at 0-0, firstly from Tonali. A cross from the right came to the Milan midfielder, but Ramsdale raced across his goalline to save the Italian's sidefooted attempt out. The Arsenal goalkeeper then did well to deny Pessina, who's deflected drive looked to be heading in until Ramsdale tipped over.
45' HALF-TIME: ENGLAND 0-0 ITALY
45' Locatelli volleys at goal from distance, but Ramsdale is there again to keep the Italian midfielder's shot out.
44' Ramsdale makes another smart stop to deny Pessina, as the forward cut onto his left foot in the area before driving at goal. Ramsdale did well to tip it over for a corner, which then comes to nothing.
41' Scamacca misses a great chance, after Pessina dug a cross out to him in the middle. The Sassuolo striker smashed a shot towards Ramsdale's goal, but ended up blazing well over.
40' Mount fires a powerful effort at goal, but it's straight at Donnarumma who gathers at the second attempt.
39' Can either of these sides get their noses in front before the break?
37' The hosts have been pressing really high up the pitch, but Mancini's men have largely dealt with it well as they try and play out from the back.
35' Rice screams for a foul, after Frattesi brought him down near the edge of the Italian box. The referee waves away his protests though, much to Rice's frustration.
33' Maguire wins a foul after Scamacca catches him with a stray boot, as the two battled for a loose ball.

24' Pessina shows a good turn of pace to skip past Trippier near the touchline, before the Newcastle full-back brings him down.

7' Both sides have had decent opportunities in these opening exchanges, though neither has been able to find that finishing touch.
5' Donnarumma gives the ball away in a really dangerous area, but Abraham isn't able to take advantage as he fires wide.
4' Space opens up for Mount to shoot, but his effort doesn't have the power or direction to trouble Donnarumma.
2' What a chance! It's a big early let-off for England, as Frattesi was played in on goal by Pellegrini. It looked as if Frattesi was going to get his side off to a great start, but he dragged his low shot wide of the left post.
1' The hosts kick us off and we are underway.
The two teams make their way onto the pitch ahead of the national anthems.
Visiting boss Roberto Mancini goes with wholesale alterations from the win over Hungary, as Donnarumma and Pellegrini are the only two players to keep their place. Frattesi, Tonali and Locatelli come into the midfield, while Scammaca starts up front.
Home manager Gareth Southgate makes six changes from the draw with Germany, as Ramsdale starts in goal while James and Tomori come into the back four. Ward-Prowse will play in front of the defence with Rice, while Grealish and Abraham are in for Saka and Kane.
