  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Farke has revealed that Gelhardt can leave Leeds this month as he continues to struggle for game time at Elland Road. He has played just nine minutes of Championship football this season thus far. In total, he has played 57 times for the first team, including in the Premier League, scoring three goals. And amid Wrexham's interest - having previously been linked with Patrick Bamford - Farke has confirmed he can leave.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Gelhardt made just 10 league appearances last season and was previously loaned to Sunderland. During that spell at the Stadium of Light, he netted three times in 20 games. Both Hull City and Luton Town, two Championship clubs, are eyeing a move for the 22-year-old along with Phil Parkinson's side.

  • WHAT FARKE SAID

Farke told reporters: “I’ve allowed him to have conversations. And when he feels it is best for him, he will knock at my door. But that’s not happened yet. Let’s see what happens over next few days.”
