Wrexham AFC have unveiled their 2025/26 third kit, a powerful and emotional tribute to the Welsh community in Patagonia on the 160th anniversary of the first settlers’ arrival. Created in partnership with Macron and United Airlines, the striking design draws inspiration from the flag of Y Wladfa, the Welsh settlement in Argentina, where the largest Welsh-speaking community outside Wales still thrives today. The shirt features blue Argentinian-style stripes embedded with subtle dragon outlines, a Welsh dragon on the nape, and the phrase “Don’t forget where you came from” stitched inside the hem - a nod to both the opening titles of Welcome to Wrexham and the enduring bond between Wales and Patagonia.
The kit’s release is supported by a stirring short film featuring choirs in both Wales and Patagonia singing the iconic Welsh anthem Yma o Hyd (“We’re still here”), visually reinforcing the transcontinental connection. With its white crew-neck collar edged in red, heat-transferred silicone club and sponsor logos, and matching white shorts and socks detailed in light blue and red, the third kit is as meaningful as it is visually distinctive. Constructed from Macron’s Eco Softlock fabric with sustainable inserts, it’s a blend of performance, craftsmanship, and heritage - an embodiment of Wrexham AFC’s past, present, and future. Fans can purchase the new third kit now via the club’s official UK and international online stores.
