McKennie was present, alongside Kean’s Fiorentina colleagues Albert Gudmundsson and Robin Gosens, at a listening party in Milan for Kean’s production, ‘Chosen’. At that event, Kean performed a full version of the album and was joined on stage by a number of acts that he has collaborated with.

McKennie also fancies himself as a rapper, as does fellow countryman Tim Weah, and told DAZN in October 2023 of working with AC Milan winger Rafael Leao: “I have a song with him as well. Me and Moise went to Milan one day we were free to record a song.”

Weah added: “I write a lot when I am at home and I am not tired. I sit and write music. My best friend is a producer so we do little things together. I want to get into writing professionally for artists. I think it’s fun. We have so much time to ourselves to just sit in front of the TV and play video games.”
