'Sky's the limit' for Harry Kane as Serge Gnabry in awe of 'truly amazing' Bayern Munich team-mate following hat-trick vs Hoffenheim

Kane’s treble in Bayern’s 4–1 win at Hoffenheim was the latest proof of a season that has already gone into overdrive. Kane scored the opener just before half-time and then converted two penalties after the break to complete the hat-trick This was his second hat-trick of the Bundesliga season and his ninth overall in the German top flight since joining the club. Kane has now scored 13 goals in seven matches across all competitions helping Bayern maintain a perfect start to the league campaign.

In a post-match interview, Gnabry was among the first to heap praise on Kane after the game, capturing the dressing-room mood.

"I think the sky's the limit for him. The way he scores goals is truly amazing. We'll see how many he ends up scoring, but we all hope he continues like this," he said.

However, Kane's form isn't a matter of luck, it's his determination, experience and the motivation to strive constantly to be the best in the game.

After bagging two goals in the Champions League fixture against Chelsea and smashing David Beckham's Champions League record, the England international went on to grab a hat-trick in Bayern's latest outing. Kane explains how he has been working hard and is confident the goals will keep coming.

"I don't set any limits for myself; we just keep going. Sometimes things don't go as hoped for a striker. But at the moment, I have the momentum on my side and I'm enjoying it. Big praise to the lads. I'm working hard for the team, and I know the goals will come."

His school mates had also nicknamed him 'hat-trick' which aligns aptly with his scoring form right now. Talking about the nickname, he said: "Hat-trick Harry - that's what they used to call me at school when I was younger." However, it's not as simple as it looks, as he says: "It's not easy. People think it's easy once the ball is in the net. But I train a lot and am always trying to improve my routine and technique."

Coach Vincent Kompany would be pleased by how his team has handled the recent set of matches in such a calm and composed way. However, the campaign is a long one and the competition has just started. The German club will be facing Werder Bremen in the league next before flying to Cyprus for their Champions League outing against Pafos on October 1.
