Rodrygo sees Kylian Mbappe as ‘good problem’ for Real Madrid despite threat to his own future as transfer talk rages

Los Blancos are already loaded with attacking talent, but have more big deals in the pipeline. World Cup-winner Mbappe is expected to make his way to the Spanish capital this summer when reaching the end of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain. Real also have a deal in place for Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, who will link up with them when he turns 18 in July.

Rodrygo continues to catch the eye for now and has said of welcoming more forwards onto Real’s books: “I don't know about Mbappe yet. I think it's close because everyone says it and I trust you, but I don't know what's going on either. There are many of us. We'll see what the coach decides.”

The Brazil international added when asked if he could be moved on in order to make room for Mbappe and Endrick: “I don't think anything... I'm just thinking about being focused on this season and finishing it well, with as many titles as possible. Next year I think it's a coach's problem... A good problem. And I'm calm.”

Vinicius Junior is another exciting winger in Madrid, while there has been talk of Real moving to add Erling Haaland to their collection of ‘Galacticos’ at some stage. Whether Rodrygo has a long-term future with Los Blancos – as he works on a contract until 2028 - remains to be seen.
