It was recently reported that Barcelona are leaning towards letting the 37-year-old when his contract runs out at the end of the season, with no sign of the club offering him an extension. His agent, however, insists a decision on his future has not yet been made on the fate of the striker, who has scored 105 goals in 156 appearances since joining in 2022. While Lewandowski has been vital to Barca’s recent domestic success, his playing time has been reduced this season, sparking suggestions his importance to the Catalan club is waning.
