Real Madrid captain Nacho set for summer MLS move after Los Blancos contract ends

Marca reports that the Real Madrid centerback has his heart set on MLS. Having no desire to move to Saudi Arabia, Nacho has also spurned European offers - he wants to move to the USA.

Nacho could join the likes of ex-La Liga stars Sergio Busquets, Lionel Messi, Riqui Puig and Jordi Alba in MLS - while others like Antoine Griezmann are already linked.

Former Madrid ace Gareth Bale played for LAFC, so them being a landing destination for the central defender has been mentioned, too. However, no club has officially put their name in the hat for the Spaniard yet.

Nacho took over as captain during the 2023/24 season after Karim Benzema left Madrid for Saudi Arabia. In total, he has made 357 appearances for Madrid.

The Los Blancos captain will look to finish the campaign with Real Madrid up before deciding his future. He's set to life the La Liga trophy with his club as they're 11 points clear of second place Barcelona in La Liga, and Madrid is still alive in the UCL, as well.
