According to TBRFootball, City made contact with Newcastle in June about signing Livramento, and now they have made a fresh move for the former Southampton man. The report adds that Pep Guardiola's side are even willing to bid in excess of £50m ($67m) for the full-back's services.
Newcastle are said to be intent on keeping the 22-year-old this summer and have approached his entourage about a new and improved contract, with the one-time England international's current terms expiring in 2028.
