Leeds United have collaborated with adidas and Sydney-based designer Kris Andrew Small on a new Love Unites Pride collection. The collection is inspired by the activists of the Stonewall uprising in 1969 and is made in solidarity and celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, past and present.
adidasThe vivid and colourful pieces include a Unites jersey and jacket. The Tiro Pride jersey is inspired by radical protest art, with the design featuring bold lettering on cut-out triangles. An all-gender fit system was created with a spectrum of sizes, genders and forms in mind during the design process.
adidasThe jacket has a bold strip which is adorned in the same pop-up protest colours and graphics, which runs across the arms and at the back of the collar. It also features a pop-up collar and a wavey stylised adidas badge of sport on the back. Both items are made with 100% recycled materials, which continues adidas' mission to help end plastic waste.
