    The rising star of English football has claimed yet another accolade, this time at the prestigious Laureus World Sports Awards as he won in the World Sports Breakthrough of the Year category. Since his big money transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid last summer, he has quickly established himself as a vital cog in the Madrid midfield and once again emerged as the difference-maker by scoring the winning goal against Barcelona in El Clasico - a match that ended with a thrilling 3-2 victory for Los Blancos.

    Bellingham is having an incredible week and after the successes against Manchester City in the Champions League and Barcelona in La Liga, the Laureus award was the icing on the cake. He shared the platform with several global icons and made sure to get snapped with them on the red carpet to make the night even more memorable.

    Bellingham posed with tennis stars Djokovic and Nadal, Olympic legend Usain Bolt and iconic actor Andy Garcia among other global stars at the glitzy ceremony.
