Is Enzo Fernandez's new girlfriend behind his scoring form? Chelsea star claimed to be dedicating goals to Argentine rapper after leaving wife and children

The Argentine scored for the second game running in Chelsea's 3-0 win over Aston Villa at the weekend, with the 23-year-old now bagging a goal contribution in four consecutive games in all competitions. And some football supporters believe his reported new-found romance with rapper Nicki Nicole, who has a popular song released in 2023 called Llamame (Call Me), may be behind his phone call celebration - reports the Daily Mail.

It's been an eventful year for Fernandez. In October, the former Benfica man is thought to have separated from childhood sweetheart, Valentina Cervantes, with whom he has two children. He was also at the centre of a racism storm following Argentina's Copa America triumph in the summer. After a tough start to the season, the midfielder is coming good for Enzo Maresca's side.

Fernandez, who was struggling for game time just last month, was spotted making the phone call celebration after scoring in his side's win over Leicester City and repeated the trick at home to Villa one week later.

Fernandez will hope to continue his goalscoring run, and have the chance to bring out his new celebration again, when high-flying Chelsea travel to Southampton in the Premier League on Wednesday.
