'We cooking!' - Dele Alli sends out optimistic message as ex-Tottenham star eyes comeback ahead of new Premier League season

The former Tottenham star is giving his all during the season break to bring out his best when action resumes on the pitch in August. He had undergone surgery in January to get rid of a longstanding groin problem and has now stepped up his recovery programme to hit the ground running when Everton reconvene for pre-season training later in July.

Dele has been posting regular updates on his social media handles about the hard work he is putting in behind the scenes under the supervision of elite athlete performance specialist Connor Peters and UEFA-qualified coach 'Jazzi FC'. He was seen practising several passing and shooting drills and looked ready for serious business while showing off his impressive physique.

Dele shared a carousel of pictures on his Instagram profile along with a caption that read: "'Nothing changes if Nothing changes!' WE COOKING👨🏽‍🍳💜💫"

Everton are reportedly open to negotiating a deal with Tottenham to keep Dele at Goodison Park, having allowed his previous contract to expire at the end of June. Sean Dyche is reportedly ready to 'take another look' at the player in pre-season after a harrowing two years that saw the English midfielder endure several issues on and off the pitch.
