Ange Out?! Postecoglou oversees Tottenham's worst half-season for 16 years after seeing toothless Spurs fall to 1-0 Nottingham Forest defeat

Nottingham Forest are challenging for Europe this season and they put up yet another top performance as the Tricky Trees beat Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at the City Ground thanks to Anthony Elanga’s first half strike. The visitors were unable to come back, as they sustained their ninth Premier League loss of the season.

Tottenham are currently in 11th place in the Premier League standings with just 23 points after 18 games.They have lost the same number of games as Ipswich Town, who are 19th in the table.

As per Opta Analyst, even if Tottenham Hotspur manage to win their next Premier League clash against Wolves, they are set to attain their worst points record halfway through the league season (19 games) since 2008/09, when Spurs attained just 20 points.

Postecoglou's men are up against Wolves in their last match of 2024 and they will be hopeful that they can end a disappointing year with a bang. The two sides will face off on December 29 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
