    Manchester City have confirmed the departure of Ederson, who has joined Fenerbahce in a €14million (£12m/$16m) transfer. The Selecao star pulled up with a muscle issue after chasing a through ball in the first half of the Burnley game, and was unable to continue after being evaluated by medical staff.

With Bayern now ending all negotiations, the striker will return to London.

  3. Ekitike rewarded with late France call-up as Cherki withdraws

    New Liverpool star Hugo Ekitike earned a late call-up to the France squad as he replaced the injured Rayan Cherki in the national team. Ekitike got off to a dream start to his Reds career as he scored two goals in his first couple of matches for the Reds in the Premier League. His efforts were duly recognised by Didier Deschamps and was included in the French side for their World Cup qualifiers.
