Masoud Juma of Kariobangi Sharks celebrates goal against NakumattGoal Kenya

Masoud Juma benched in Kakamega Homeboyz tie

Christopher Kimathi has been handed a starting role as Kariobangi takes on Kakamega Homeboyz.

Kimani, alongside Paul Kimani, has been drafted in the match day squad after impressive outing in the side’s GOtv Shield Cup last weekend.

Masoud Juma also makes a return to Sharks’ squad after returning from trials in Europe. His presence will provide fifth placed Sharks with more options up front at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Juma will, however, start from the bench alongside Ovella Ochieng and Ibrahim Kitawi.

Jeff Oyemba keeps his place between the sticks and will be hoping to secure his ninth clean sheet of the season.

Ebrimma Sanneh, who has netted in all his last three matches, will lead Shark’s attack with an assist from Duke Abuya and Matthew Tayo with the supporting role.

The last time these two sides met was in the 2015 FKF-PL (Now NSL) with Sharks coming from behind to take a 2-1 victory.

Sharks are going to the match with an impressive record of 10 unbeaten matches in the league, and a win will see them move to third on the log.
