Western Stima have parted ways with coach Hesbon Nyabinge, the club has confirmed.

Chairman Laban Jobita has told Goal that a meeting resolved that the coach, who has been in charge during Henry Omino's absence, be removed from the club’s technical bench following a series of poor performance which has seen the club rooted at the league’s bottom position.

Jobita says that preliminary findings of an investigation has proved that the team needed a change at the helm in an effort to start winning matches. However he has explained that Nyabinge will still work with Kenya Power Company where he has been an employee.

"We have resolved to relieve Nyabinge (Hesbon) of his duties after a lengthy meeting. Patrick Odhiambo will now be the stand-in coach as Henry Omino recovers."

Head coach Henry Omino has been out on medical leave.
