FC Koln sporting director Thomas Kessler has insisted that Said El Mala harbours no regrets after his prospective move to Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund fell through last week. The teenage attacker had attracted strong interest from the Champions League regulars, but negotiations ended following a failure to agree terms between both German outfits.
Borussia Dortmund have officially ended their pursuit of highly-rated talent Said El Mala after FC Koln rejected a massive transfer offer exceeding €50 million. The Bundesliga giants will not submit an improved bid for the youngster following unsuccessful negotiations between the two clubs.
