Robin van Persie has launched a passionate defence of Raheem Sterling, hitting out at the "cynicism" that has followed the former England international during his time in the Eredivisie. The Feyenoord manager went on the offensive following his side's victory over PEC Zwolle, claiming that the veteran winger deserves far more respect for his career achievements.
