Philadelphia Eagles vs Los Angeles Rams NFL Preview: Team news, betting, tickets, live stream, Fantasy Football and more

The Los Angeles Rams head to Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, Sept. 21, for a Week 3 showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Philadelphia (2-0) has once again lived up to its billing early this season. After edging the Cowboys 24-20, the Eagles followed up with a 20-17 victory over the Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch, sealing the win with a decisive, and debated, tush push. Quarterback Jalen Hurts continues to shine when the stakes are highest.

Los Angeles (2-0) has been equally impressive, opening with a gritty 14-9 triumph over Houston before rolling past Tennessee 33-19. Matthew Stafford and breakout receiver Puka Nacua have the Rams’ offense humming like a well-tuned machine.

Eagles vs Rams Fantasy Football

Jalen Hurts (21.6 W3 projected fpts)had a rough go on Sunday, turning in just 11.5 fantasy points to finish as QB25. He managed 15 completions on 22 attempts for 101 yards, while adding 15 rushing yards and a score on nine carries. Philly's air attack has been virtually invisible to start the year. Hurts has never been a volume passer, but usually he makes his chances count. The Rams, who’ve allowed only 16.5 fantasy points through the air this season, won’t make things easier.

On the flip side, Matthew Stafford (15.4 W3 projected fpts) remains one of fantasy’s strangest cases. He's feeding Puka Nacua (11.6 fpts) like the WR1 he is and keeping Davante Adams firmly in WR2 territory, yet Stafford himself remains a shaky fantasy starter. Sean McVay's shift to more under-center looks suits the Rams, but without rushing upside, Stafford always needs touchdowns to deliver. Against Philadelphia's defense, that's a tall order.

The Eagles shut down Dak Prescott in Week 1, forced Patrick Mahomes to lean on his legs, and remain tougher against the run than the pass. Kyren Williams gashed them for 106 yards in last year’s playoffs, and Los Angeles may need another heavy dose of him to keep Stafford upright and the offense balanced.

Eagles vs Rams Game Predictions

Philadelphia enters Sunday’s matchup as a slight favorite, carrying a 57.4% chance to win, while Los Angeles sits at 42.2%, with the rest left for a potential tie.

The Eagles’ aerial attack hasn’t exactly lit up the scoreboard this year, so a high-scoring shootout seems unlikely. Even with questions surrounding the Rams’ defensive backfield—particularly when it comes to containing A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith—Los Angeles has the pass rush to make Jalen Hurts uncomfortable. This game could swing on two factors: Philadelphia’s ability to establish a steady ground game and its knack for getting key third-down stops against the Rams’ offense.
