In the secondary, Cam Bynum, tied for league interceptions, pairs with vets Charvarius Ward and Xavien Howard to keep passing games honest. Through three games, the Colts have tallied 13 pass deflections and four picks—a clear warning for Stafford to be sharp.

QB Matthew Stafford has thrown for 739 yards with five touchdowns and just two interceptions on 66.3% accuracy, while Kyren Williams has led the ground attack with 226 yards and a score. The Colts have been one of the league’s biggest surprises so far, storming out to a 3-0 start with Daniel Jones at the helm. Once written off as a potential draft bust during his time in New York, Jones has proven critics wrong, linking up with Jonathan Taylor to turn Indianapolis’ offense into one of the NFL’s most efficient and dynamic units.

Jones has been a dual-threat, throwing for 816 yards with three passing touchdowns while adding three rushing scores of his own. Taylor has powered the ground game with 338 yards on the ground, while Tyler Warren has emerged as a reliable target with 14 catches for 193 yards, and Michael Pittman Jr. has been steady with 16 grabs for 193 yards and two touchdowns. The passing game is firing on all cylinders, and defenses are already feeling the heat.

There’s a bit of a setback with Alec Pierce, who took a nasty fall on a deep pass against the Titans in Week 3. Originally ruled complete, the play was overturned, and this marks the third time Pierce has entered the NFL’s concussion protocol. Still, he finished as the team’s second-leading receiver with four catches for 67 yards, and through three games, he’s racked up nine receptions for 171 yards—a solid contribution despite the injury concerns.

On the defensive side, DeForest Buckner didn't practice Wednesday, and Matt Goncalves is sidelined with a boot on his right foot. With both players, it's worth monitoring their status through Thursday, especially Buckner, who's likely to suit up until he's officially ruled inactive.

Rams vs Colts Fantasy Football

Daniel Jones (18.6 projected Week 4 fantasy points) is suddenly playing like a quarterback who has finally figured it out. For the first time in his career, he’s opened a season with three straight QB1 performances — a run no one saw coming from a guy who was practically written off in New York. On Sunday, Jones was sharp and efficient, completing 18-of-25 throws for 228 yards (a crisp 9.1 yards per attempt) and a touchdown, while also tucking it and running for 27 yards.

 Three weeks ago we said we'd ride the wave if this continued, and right now, it looks like more than just a hot streak. Think Sam Darnold's fantasy run last year, but with better wheels and fewer back-breaking errors. Now he gets a Rams defense that just allowed Philadelphia’s passing attack to wake from its slumber — hardly a matchup that should scare fantasy managers.

Matthew Stafford (17.2 projected Week 4 fantasy points), on the other hand, looks like the same old Stafford — gutsy, but unreliable for fantasy. He managed just 196 passing yards against the Bears, his lowest totals of the season in both completion rate (57.6%) and yards per attempt (5.9). He salvaged the day with two touchdown tosses, but another interception showed up on the ledger. With zero juice as a runner, Stafford remains a classic "high-floor, low-ceiling" QB2 — safe to start, but not a guy who's going to win you a week.

Meanwhile, RB Kyren Williams (11.9 projected Week 4 fantasy points) continues to cement himself as the heartbeat of this Rams offense. He's cleared 69 scrimmage yards in every game so far and found the end zone in two of three contests. And then there's WR Puka Nacua (13.8 projected Week 4 fantasy points) — the fantasy darling of September. Forget the rookie caveats, he's already playing like a matchup-proof WR1. With 29 catches and 333 yards across three weeks, he's not just hot, he's historic. His versatility has grown each week, and with defenses forced to account for Davante Adams (10.6 projected Week 4 fantasy points) stretching the field, Nacua is eating up whatever space he's given.
