Inter Miami star Leo Messi has led MLS in jersey sales for the fourth consecutive season, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. Messi topped a star-studded list including LAFC's Son Heung-Min, Chicago Fire's Robert Lewandowski and Philly Union starlet Cavan Sullivan. There was a strong showing for midseason arrivals, with two major acquisitions in the top five.
Antoine Griezmann scored and set up another as Orlando City raced into a 2-0 halftime lead at Soldier Field. Robert Lewandowski came close to cutting into it, but it was Jonathan Bamba and Maren Haile-Selassie who hauled Chicago Fire back for a 2-2 draw.
German veteran Thomas Muller has committed his future to Vancouver Whitecaps by penning a new contract extension through to the conclusion of the 2027 MLS Sprint Season. The 37-year-old attacker had been facing the expiration of his previous terms this coming December but has now agreed to prolong his highly successful stay on Canadian soil.
