Rondonopolis Overview

Mikel Arteta hit out at Arsenal’s ‘terrible’ schedule after his much-changed side beat Everton 2-0 to draw level with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League. The win came less than three days after a draining trip to Munich, and the Gunners are still counting the cost of that game, with Bukayo Saka facing up to 12 matches out with a quad injury.

Ezri Konsa has laid down a marker for Arsenal's title credentials, insisting that consistent winning is the only path to glory after the Gunners moved level with Manchester City. The defender enjoyed a landmark afternoon at the Emirates, opening his account for the club in a dominant 2-0 victory over Everton that capitalised on City's 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa.

A fierce battle with City

Arsenal maintained their pursuit of the Premier League summit with a composed 2-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium. Goals from Ezri Konsa and Gabriel ensured Mikel Arteta's side overcame the absence of Bukayo Saka with tactical maturity.
