Atletico La Paz Overview

The Glamour Boys' habit of settling for a share of the spoils has become a concern as the Soweto giants look to keep pace with the teams leading the Betway Premiership. Amakhosi legend Neil Tovey has called for patience with the head coach, but believes the Naturena-based team must start turning draws into wins if they are to stay in the title conversation.

Amakhosi have been handed a significant injury concern after young attacker Luke Baartman was forced off during South Africa U23’s international friendly against Algeria. The promising forward was unable to complete the first half, adding to the growing list of fitness worries for the Glamour Boys medical staff.

Amakhosi are often the envy of South African football for their ability to scout top talent, but even the Glamour Boys can occasionally let a future superstar slip through their fingers. The club has now opened up about the circumstances that led to them passing on a talented midfielder, who has since developed into one of the country's most exciting prospects.

The pacey winger has finally broken his silence on the transfer saga that nearly saw him land at Naturena before the current campaign began. Despite a lucrative proposal from the Soweto giants, the former Mamelodi Sundowns man opted for a different path.
