VIDEO: Selecao star Ricardo Gomes relives 'Classique' memories

The former Brazil international, a former player and coach of PSG, remembers the derby ahead of this week's big clash in Marseille

Tough-tackling centre-back Ricardo Gomes made over 40 appearances for Brazil over a 10-year international career that brought Copa America success in 1989.

The 52-year-old has gone on to enjoy a glittering coaching career back home in Brazil, sitting in the dugout for some of the country's biggest clubs, and leading Vasco to the Copa do Brasil and Botafogo to promotion from the second division in 2015.

He also led Paris Saint-Germain to the League Cup and French Cup in 1998, comeptitions he had previously won for the club as a player during a four-year spell in the French captial.

And ahead of this weekend's le Classique, whcih sees Marseille host PSG, the former Selecao star shared some of his memories on one of Europe's great derbies.
