The first round of midweek matches in La Liga this season throws up an interesting game at Mestalla, where two teams who have made contrasting starts to the campaign meet.
Valencia are unbeaten after a win and three draws from their opening four games, a steady opening to the season which was very much needed after last year saw them lose their first four games.
Enduring a winless opening four matches is something that Malaga are currently going through themselves, with Michel's men having scored just one goal during their four defeats so far; the Andalusians are desperate to kick start their season, while Valencia are looking for their second win and Marathonbet offer the hosts at 59/100 (1.59) with Malaga priced at 28/5 (6.60).
Getty ImagesHistory, however, is not on the side of Los Boquerones, who have only ever won once at Mestalla and that victory came in 1955.
This season, three of Malaga's four defeats have come by a 1-0 scoreline and on Saturday they managed to frustrate Atletico Madrid for an hour before succumbing to a goal by Antoine Griezmann.
Another low-scoring game could well be on the cards as Malaga desperately try and keep things tight to avoid defeat, and the price of 111/100 (2.11) for under 2.5 goals looks like offering unmissable value. As well as paying out in three of the visitor's four games so far, it has also proved the winning selection in three of Valencia's four games which should give punters plenty of confidence.

Furthermore, early evening 7pm matches in Spain tend to be somewhat low-key affairs with the unfamiliar kick-off time often impacting the intensity of the encounter.
Another worthwhile market for consideration is backing the first goal to come after the 26th minute at 103/100 (2.03), which looks a fantastic price in what we expect to be a tight game.
