Thiago Motta accused of striking a PSG fan in his car

An individual reportedly suffered injuries after being knocked over by a car containing the midfielder during a protest

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta has been accused of striking a fan in his car by accident in the aftermath of Wednesday's shock Champions League elimination to Barcelona.

PSG supporters were expressing their anger and disappointment at the players' performances following their team's remarkable 6-1 defeat that left them losers 6-5 on aggregate in the last 16 of the competition.

According to RMC Sport , the incident involving Thiago Motta's car and the protestor occurred at Le Bourget airport following the arrival of the PSG players from Catalunya.

In a video broadcast by BFMTV, a small group of fans can be seen blocking a number of vehicles from passing through the exit of the airport, but one car lurches forward into a protestor. Police had been at the scene, but had to be assisted by PSG security personnel.

According to reports, the man was injured by the collision, hurting his back, and had to be taken to hospital in St Denis.

Neither PSG nor Thiago Motta are yet to comment on the incident.
