The Blues are planning for the departure of star striker Diego Costa this summer, with Chinese Super League outfit Tianjin Quanjian having admitted they are keen on the Spain international.
And they are monitoring Alexis's situation at the Emirates Stadium as his contract stand-off continues.
The former Barcelona man's current deal runs out at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, and reports suggest he is not willing to extend his stay in north London.
