The 22-year-old is currently shining in Serie A having spent the last two seasons taking in loan spells at Trapani and Cesena.
An Italy U21 international, his assured displays have attracted attention from Premier League title hopefuls in England, and reigning Serie A champions Juventus.
He is tied to a contract with Atalanta until 2021, but a sizeable offer from a European heavyweight could see him move on in the not too distant future.
