The Premier League title odds are the tightest they have been all season after Manchester City were stunned at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
It looked to be business as usual for the champions when Ilkay Gundogan put them ahead but Jeffrey Schlupp, Andros Townsend and Luka Milivojevic gave the Eagles a two-goal advantage in the second half.
Kevin de Bruyne’s late goal did nothing to impact the result, which means City are four points behind Liverpool and have moved from 4/9 (1.44) to 10/11 (1.91) with 888Sport to retain the Premier League title.

Jurgen Klopp’s challengers, meanwhile, have been cut from 9/4 (3.25) into 11/10 (2.10) – the shortest price they have been this term – after their 2-0 win at Wolves means the Reds will be top over Christmas.
The team that have been top on December 25 have gone on to win the Premier League title in eight of the last 11 seasons, but Liverpool comprise two of those three failures having gone on to finish second in both 2008/09 and 2013/14.
Now five years on since their last meaningful title challenge, the Anfield faithful will be hoping to end a 31-year drought and will certainly be buoyed by their win at Molineux on Friday night.

Mohamed Salah recorded a goal and an assist, providing a cross for Virgil van Dijk to finish with aplomb, before Crystal Palace’s win at the Etihad Stadium got Reds’ fans believing that this might be their year.
Outside of the top two, Tottenham are just six points back from Liverpool after their 6-2 drubbing of Everton on Merseyside and can be backed at 16/1 (17.0) to claim a first title since 1961.
Chelsea’s hopes took a massive blow on Saturday afternoon as Jamie Vardy’s goal secured a surprise 1-0 for Leicester at Stamford Bridge, with Maurizio Sarri’s men out at 100/1 (101.0). Arsenal are 150/1 (151.0) with 888Sport.
