Loftus-Cheek unsure over Chelsea future

The midfielder has spent the season on loan at Crystal Palace, and may well remain at the club this summer, if a permanent deal can be agreed

Ruben Loftus-Cheek admits he is unsure if he will return to Chelsea or stay at Crystal Palace this summer.

The young midfielder has spent the season on loan at Selhurst Park and, despite battling injury problems, has made 20 Premier League appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

Loftus-Cheek's performances led to two full England caps in November, playing 90 minutes against Germany and 35 against Brazil.

And he has subsequently attracted interest from a number of clubs, with Palace interested in securing the 22-year-old on a permanent deal.

However, the player himself is not exactly sure where his future lies.

"I really haven't thought about what's going to happen next season," he said, per The Independent.

"I've still got a few games now. I'm focused with Palace. Whatever happens next season, I'm not really looking at that right now.

"I'll deal with that when it comes."

Loftus-Cheek joined Chelsea in 2014, but he has made just 32 appearances for the club since then.
