    Newcastle 'keeping tabs' on Mudryk

    Mykhaylo Mudryk is one of the most sought-after players in Europe, at the moment. Plenty of clubs have been linked with a move for the Ukrainian forwards and one of those clubs is Newcastle.

    Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, transfer expert Ben Jacobs confirmed the Magpies' interest. He said: "He’s hot property, and the better he does, the more clubs are going to be circling. But Newcastle certainly hold an interest and are keeping tabs on the situation.”

    ESPN are reporting that Xabi Alonso has emerged as a front-runner to replace him if he is sacked. The same report has suggested that the former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich midfielder would be keen on the opportunity.

    Cristopher Nkuku and Rafael Leao have both been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in the last few days and in his press conference ahead of the clash with Milan, Graham Potter was asked about the pair.

    On Nkunku: "My answer is that I don't speak about players that aren't Chelsea players. It was the same at Brighton. There are a lot of names out there but I will only speak about Chelsea players and not anyone else."

    On Leao: “I’ve been really impressed with him whenever I watch games. He contributes to how they attack and score. So we have to say congratulations to him for that. He’s a top player. In the future who knows? He is affecting games at the top level.”
