<p>Liverpool have won!</p><p>It was an incredible fight back from Jurgen Klopp's side in the first half.</p><p>After going 2-0 down at half-time, they dominated the last 45 minutes and got back into the lead through goals from Fabinho, Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane.</p>

WATCH: Mane puts Liverpool ahead

<p>Sadio Mane gets in on the goals.</p><p>It's another howler from goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.</p><p>Liverpool's first two goals went through his legs, but this one is wild.</p><p>He comes rushing out of his box but is beaten to the ball by Mane, who skips a pass then takes his time before slotting it into the open goal. </p><p>Liverpool lead 5-2 on aggregate and are on their way into the final.</p>

Liverpool make English history

<p>"We never tend to make these Champions League semis easy for ourselves," Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold said to <em>BT Sport</em>. </p><p>"Difficult, very difficult... We regrouped at half-time and grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and did what we needed to do. </p><p>"It was difficult for us first-half, we expected it but sometimes you can't control the game how you want to. </p><p>"They started the game very well, scored the early goals which is obviously what they wanted to do. We got the game done and booked our ticket  to Paris."</p>

Klopp equals the greats

<p>Virgil van Dijk was relieved that Liverpool managed to claw their way back into the match and book their place in the Champions League final. </p><p>Speaking to BT Sport, the centre-back said: "Hard work. First half, obviously, we should forget as soon as possible. In all kind of ways. On the ball we weren't good enough. The early goal didn't help us, it helped them massively. Second half we played outstanding, I think. Then it's got to be difficult for them to keep up with the press, the runs."</p><p>When pressed on what Jurgen Klopp told the players at half-time, Van Dijk said: "Play football, play the Liverpool way, the way we've played basically the whole season. You have to show how much you want to go to the final."</p><p>Asked about Luis Diaz's impact, Van Dijk said: "The way he goes one vs one, it doesn't matter who he's facing, he just goes at you... That's very difficult to defend against."</p><p>Does Van Dijk have a preference when it comes to who they will face in the final? </p><p>"No, any team that we're going to face in the final is going to be a nightmare to play against," he said. </p><p>"We know City in and out, they know us very well, too. Real Madrid is Real Madrid, they are such a big club. They have a very in-form striker at the moment, but we'll see tomorrow."</p>
