France forced to wear special 'third' shirt for Switzerland clash

Those who have bought France’s away kit for Euro 2016 may be asking for a refund.

For the first time in the tournament, the Euro 2016 hosts played in their away kit for their final group game against Switzerland.

But rather than playing in the kit that’s on sale to the masses - the one which features the ‘Tricolore’ of red and blue sleeves - France’s players were forced to wear a specially made shirt.

In an effort to avoid clashing with Switzerland’s red kit, France were forced to ditch their coloured sleeves and instead opted for an off-white.
