AFC Champions League: Al Hilal coach Ramon Diaz wary of Al Ain superstar Omar Abdulrahman ahead of quarter-final

Al Hilal travel to United Arab Emirates to face Al Ain in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Monday.

Head coach for the visitors Ramon Diaz is unsurprisingly wary of the threat Omar Abdulrahman poses.

However, he insists that it would be lax to forget about the other talented players on show for Al Ain.

“Amoory (Abulrahman) is the superstar of Al Ain and has high skill, but I cannot devote all my concentration to him,” he said.

“On the contrary, my team will play putting all players under pressure.”

The attacking midfielder has scored five goals in the Champions League this year, second only to Persepolis’ Mehdi Taremi and is bound to have a big influence on the quarter-final if Al Ain are to advance.

Meanwhile, The Boss' head coach Zoran Mamic is equally cautious of the away side who are are already two games into their Saudi Pro League campaign, winning both fixtures.

“We realise that our task will not be easy and we will make sure to adopt an attacking approach to face Al Hilal, who I do not think will adopt a method of defense because they are the visiting side.”
