    Arsenal pushed Manchester City hard in the Premier League title race last season but ultimately had to settle for second place after finishing two points behind Pep Guardiola's side. The Gunners' efforts have been recognised at the PFA Awards with five players featuring in the Premier League Team of the Year.

    Saliba and Odegaard are joined in the Premier League XI by goalkeeper David Raya, Gabriel Magalhaes and Declan Rice. Champions Manchester City are also well represented with top scorer Erling Haaland included along with Kyle Walker, Rodri, and Phil Foden. The team is completed by Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk and Aston Villa and England striker Ollie Watkins.
