Coleen is currently starring in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and TV bosses are looking to cash-in, The Daily Mail says, by making a series about Rooney that would be similar to Netflix's ‘Beckham’, which was released last year.

It was reported this week that Rooney's first season as Plymouth manager will be the subject of a fly-on-the-wall documentary in the style of Disney+'s successful Welcome to Wrexham series.

Rooney took charge of Plymouth in the summer after he was sacked by Birmingham, who were relegated to League One after finishing a point below the ex-England striker's new team. Plymouth are a point clear of the relegation zone after 15 games into the new season.

While the fine details about another Rooney documentary series get hashed out, the former Manchester United and Everton hero will have his mind on Plymouth's match against Watford on Friday.
